Welsh Penrhyn (Heather blue)

Welsh slate has been the superior roofing material for Australian building since the the early 1800’s. It benefits from a number of highly practical properties. It is exceptionally durable unaffected by normal extremes of temperatures and is highly resistant to acids, alkalis and other chemicals. It retains its natural colour in UV light and is impermeable to water.
